Please Help New Hampshire's Young PeopleYour Investment Will Make a Significant Difference
Are you interested in making an investment in today's teens toward helping them become tomorrow's leaders?
NH Teen Institute needs support from people like YOU!
Each year, we help more than 1000 middle and high school students to:
- improve communication skills
- build positive relationships
- enhance their self-awareness
- increase personal & social responsibility
- prevent violence, alcohol and other drug use and high-risk behavior.
Your donation - of any kind in any amount - will help in so many ways!
Financial Support
Your donation of any dollar amount will be used to help provide scholarships and subsidies to keep our programs affordable for New Hampshire schools, communities and families. Our basic infrastructure is funded by the NH Department of Health and Human Services' Division for Public Health and private foundations.
However, whenever we run a program or workshop that involves workbooks, handouts, snacks, meals, lodging, and so forth, we need to charge a fee to cover those costs. Community and corporate contributions are allocated to those "extras" that help to make our programs memorable.
For example:
-
$15 covers the cost of a day of meals for a youth or volunteer at an overnight retreat
-
$25 covers the materials needed for a Leaders in Prevention Team to help them create an action plan for their school
-
$75 provides a weekend of meals and lodging for a youth volunteer
-
$100 provides a stipend for a nurse to staff our overnight programs
-
$500 enables a low-income boy or girl to attend our Summer Leadership Program

In-Kind Donations
Teen Institute utilizes a significant amount of art supplies, paper, newsprint, snacks and outdoor equipment to keep our programs fun and fast-paced, and to keep our participants excited and attentive.
We are always pleased to receive gift cards to area stores, or to accept donated items that will help with our programming needs. Please contact Betsy Abrahams, Executive Director, with any specific questions.
